God’s Word is POWERFUL!

Reading God’s Word takes only a sacrifice of your time, you don’t have to read it in order.
Try being led by the Spirit; What does God want me to know?
You can even start with something familiar and read on from there.
You can read all over the Bible, just keep track and just keep reading; the Lord WILL work the rest out, don’t give up!

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you WILL have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

Reading the Word of God allows us to have success in this life. How can you know what it says IF you do not read it? We read everything else.
“All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.” (Ps 119:160)

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the VICTORY that has overcome the world— our FAITH. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:3-5)

We have the power to OVERCOME the world through God’s Word. Therefore, there is divine POWER in the Word of God accessed through reading it.

The Word of God is living and breathing. It never changes, yet is always illuminating. My pastor put it this way: The Word of God is mirror that gives us a reflection of our lives. When we read the Bible, we are essentially allowing the Word of God to expose us. This allows us to examine ourselves and see where we need correction and where the Lord can grow us or bring healing to our lives.

My Prayer:
Lord, I pray that your people will turn to Your Word to guide their lives. I pray that they will take heed to what it says and allow Your Word to transform them inside and out. Father, I pray that the reading and obeying of Your Word in their lives will help heal this state and this nation.

Lord, I pray that those who have lagged in their reading will give it a new start with fresh eyes, minds, and a renewed spirit. I pray that in Your Word, they receive revelations, that the Holy Spirit will lead them and guide them in their readings.
I pray that Your Word become a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path. (Ps 119:105)

And for those who never picked up a Bible, Father I pray that you would compel them to do so. That they are given a GREAT hunger and thirst for your Word nothing can quench, but Your Word, the BIBLE.
In Jesus Christ name I pray.

I hope this message has blessed you. If you have any comments, my husband and I would love to hear from you!
