Sometimes we must wait.

We live in a generation that wants everything now, now!

God wants his people to live for Him, He wants us to live humbly before him.

Abraham waited 25yrs for his promise to be fulfilled by God, to be blessed with a son.

He was 100 years old when Isaac was born to him. (Genesis 17:15-17)

Would you wait 25 years for a promise from God?

Many times, we over-think our situations. We become like Sara, who thought maybe God wants to do it in another way, “Maybe if I just do this!” (Gen 16:1-4)

There are times that I look back on something I was doing, or going about the hard way, only to find that if I had waited, the Lord would have blessed me with it anyways.

He was opening a door for me.

Sometimes, our lack of patience takes us the long route.

We try to open doors that only lead us to a place God never intended for us to be, because we can’t WAIT!

When I get an idea, I jump at it with all my might; but, sometimes I find that now, I’m stressed out, asking God to relieve me of self-inflicted anxiety.

Getting what we want right away may not be God’s best for us.

Waiting on God’s promises helps build our character and faith in Him.

Faith:

“The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1

Our God is faithful, and He has an even bigger plan for those who trust, obey and live out his will for their lives.

He promises us everlasting life! (John 3:16-17)

Let your patience be perfected in Christ today,

“But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

Matthew 24:13

Pray:

Father, I pray for your perfect peace over my life. Help me to be patient and to be still before you, so I can hear you clearly. I trust that You have amazing plans for me, and You only want me to prosper. Thank You! In Jesus Christ Holy name, Amen.

If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you have no part in His promises. Today, the Lord stands knocking at your door;

“Here I Am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Revelation 3:20

If you are ready…pray.

God I’m a sinner and right now I turn from my sins. I ask you to forgive my sins, that I may be right with you. I believe that Jesus Christ: lived, died and that He rose from the dead. Right now, I ask you Jesus to be my Savior and Lord, that I may have eternal life in heaven. Thank you God for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Amen!

I hope you enjoyed this blog. God bless you.

We love you,
