5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD. 6 They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. 7 “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. 8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.Jeremiah 17:5-8

We cannot depend on government or people and when they fail us say, “Well all we can do now is pray and trust in God!”. We cannot have backwards thinking, because it curses our lives to continuously fail in finding solutions to life’s problems.
We can be secure in the time of disaster, because it’s God who is the “Way-maker”. He does the supernatural and provides water in a drought and food in a famine. God not only gives life, but He sustains it, so when you fully trust in God and natural resources run out, He is able to provide supernatural resources. Let’s not be cursed today, but blessed and make the LORD our hope and confidence!
We hope today’s devotion has inspired you. We love you guys, and are constantly praying for you. Have a very blessed day.
