Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 103:1-5

It creeps up on you, and it can devour you.

Its invisible, as is every other feeling, yet it is strong.

You can resist it, even deny it, but if you don’t commit your ways unto the Lord, you will not defeat it.

Commit your actions to the Lord,
    and your plans will succeed.”

Proverbs 16:3

When you put too much on yourself, you can cause yourself undo stress. It can make you feel good to think that you are getting things accomplished, but if you depend on yourself to get it done, you will not get very far.

Stress is a major cause to many diseases, and some of the most horrible ones, not only that, it can paralyze you literally. Ever heard of Conversion Disorder?

Ask God to give you clarity of mind today and a new perspective, ask Him to guide you down the right path, and to help you take on His yoke, because it is easy, His burdens, because they are light.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30
