The world is filled with wickedness.

In these times, the Lord requires that we stand firm in our faith, be planted in it.

We cannot let the world dictate what we believe, or what parts of the Bible we believe.

We are commanded to not let Gods Word depart from us, but to meditate in it day and night.

Exercising “daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making us fit both today and forever. We can count on this. Take it to heart.” And when we do, the Lord says we shall prosper and have great success.

For He has COMMANDED us to BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS, and He is with us wherever we go. (Joshua 1:8-9, 1 Timothy 4:8-9)

I remember years ago being put to the test in my college philosophy class. The teacher told us from the beginning that he would convince us with much proof, that there is no God, heaven, hell, or spirits.

I can say I had zero friends in that class, and the teacher disliked me from the beginning, as I challenged him when it came to God.

I was not the only one, but when the others tapered out, I was left alone.

I also remember when my now husband, stood against our astronomy teacher when he disapproved of God and His creation, giving all credit to the infamous “big bang theory.” It was courageous and I loved it…so I married him.

However, when God calls us to stand, to be bold and fearless in professing His name, that’s what we are to do (college students have it hard in mainstream schools: pray for them to keep the faith). The world will hate you, but remember it hated Christ first. (John15:18)

Thousands may fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand, but the Lord will not let anything come near us. For Christ is our light and salvation; to whom should we fear?

The Lord is the strength of our life; of whom should we be afraid? (Psalms 91:7, 27:1)

As for those who come against us, “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” So, we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the sea, even if the waters go wild with storm and the mountains shake -God is our safe place and strength. (Isaiah 57:21, Psalm 46:1-3)

The Lord is our rock…my safe covering, my saving strength, and my strong tower. Because He who promised is faithful, we must hold fast the confession of our “hope” without wavering, standing boldly, sometimes alone. Waiting patiently for the Lord. Doing all He requires of us, being brave and courageous. (Ps18:2, 27:14, Hebrews 10:23)

Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. (Ps27:14)

Amen

Maybe you don’t know Jesus, maybe you just don’t feel courageous, and this world seems to be falling apart.

I want to let you know, that there is HOPE in Jesus Christ. The world and it’s way will pass away, don’t pass away with it.

Let’s pray:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose to give me life. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins opening my heart and life for You to come in. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

I hope you enjoyed this blog. God bless you.

We love you,
