About Us

I’m Tasha, a wife, mother of five, writer, and homeschool educator. Alongside my husband, Ryan, I help lead Randomnestfamily.org, a place for families seeking biblical encouragement, practical homeschool help, and ways to grow together in faith. I direct Homeschool 101 and coordinate 5 Arrow Homeschool Academy.

Before becoming a homeschool mom, I studied Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences and earned my associate degree. I continued at California State University, Dominguez Hills with the goal of becoming a student academic counselor. Then our twin girls arrived earlier than expected, and the daily work of teaching and caring for my family became a new direction for my life.

Fourteen years later, I homeschool five children, including two dual-enrolled students working toward high school graduation and associate degrees. That experience informs the articles and guidance I write, the families I mentor, and the unit studies and printable tools I create. I want parents to have useful resources that fit real family life and the confidence to lead their children’s education.

The heart behind our family Bible studies

My years serving and leading in Sunday school shaped another part of this work. I saw families who loved God and served faithfully, yet still needed simple ways to help their children understand foundational Bible truths at home. Parents should feel equipped to open Scripture with their children, ask questions, and grow together, even on busy days.

That desire became Focus on Your Family: Family Bible Study. The studies help families make God’s Word a regular part of home life. They can also be adapted for Sunday school, family devotionals, and classrooms.

Why I keep writing

Randomnestfamily brings our work together: devotions and encouragement, family Bible studies, homeschool articles, creative resources, and personal support through 5 Arrow. Every part grows from a conviction that faith and learning are lived out in the home, one ordinary day at a time.

My heart is to help parents care for, teach, and disciple the children God has entrusted to them. Whether you came for a Bible study, a homeschool plan, or a word of encouragement, I hope you find something here that helps your family take its next step.

Ryan Moore is the author of Behold A Mystery: The Beginning of the End, a thought-provoking exploration of biblical prophecy and end-time truth. As co-owner of Randomnestfamily.org, Ryan partners with his wife to equip families to grow in faith, live with purpose, and pursue God’s calling in every season.

A devoted husband and father of five, Ryan brings both biblical insight and real-life experience into everything he writes. He is the creative force behind many of the site’s devotional ebooks and serves as director of the Live Inspired series—a bold, Christ-centered project that encourages believers to live with passion, vision, and unwavering hope.

Ryan is also a dedicated technology enthusiast, combining his love for innovation with a mission to share the gospel in today’s digital world.

What makes our team especially unique is that many of our helpers are homeschool parents themselves. They understand the joys, challenges, busy schedules, and heart behind homeschooling because they live it too.
