Many times, we see that the world is merciless.

One mistake and you are forever cast out or it might seem that people are ready to stone you.

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

As Jesus was teaching, Pharisees brought a woman to him caught in adultery.  Hoping to test Jesus, they said, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?

But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground, as if ignoring them

They pestered Him more, then Jesus stood and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” (vs.7 NLT)

When Jesus said this, they were convicted by their conscious, whatever they were accusing her of, was no different than the sin they had in their own lives.

Eventually, the woman’s enemies walked away and she was left alone with Jesus.

The Lord said, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” (vs.10 NLT)

“No, Lord.”

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” (vs.11 NLT)

God is the God of second chances, no matter how many times he must forgive us.

He is willing to reason with us;

Come, let’s talk this over, says the Lord; no matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool! 19 If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich! 20 But if you keep on turning your backs and refusing to listen to me, you will be killed by your enemies; I, the Lord, have spoken.”   Isaiah 1:18-20

There is new life in Christ.

Just like the woman, the Lord is looking to forgive you, to love you and to set you free with the second chance.

Will you take that chance today?

While the Lord is the God of second chances, He will not wait forever, nor will he allow you to live in repeated sin.

Samuel replied, “Has the Lord as much pleasure in your burnt offerings and sacrifices as in your obedience? Obedience is far better than sacrifice. He is much more interested in your listening to him than in your offering the fat of rams to him.” 1 Samuel 15:22

The time is coming when the Lord will bring judgment on this land, yet the Lord has not appointed us to wrath, but to receive Salvation through Christ. 1 Timothy 5:9

He will not contend with us forever. Genesis 6:3

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose to give me life. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins opening my heart and life for You to come in. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
