Hello everyone,
We just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you!
We hope you have a blessed time celebrating the things that you are thankful for.
We want you to be encouraged today! Many of you have had a ruff year and maybe even today is not going well for you, we you have to remember that God has been faithful!
The bible says in Acts 27:34-38
33 And as day was about to dawn, Paul implored them all to take food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day you have waited and continued without food, and eaten nothing. 34 Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.” 35 And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat. 36 Then they were all encouraged, and also took food themselves. 37 And in all we were two hundred and seventy-six persons on the ship. 38 So when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship and threw out the wheat into the sea.
Acts 27:34-38
They were discouraged and looking forward disaster and death, but Paul said, “You will not die, but you will live today, if you believe God!” You have to find life in your situation, because God is good and He is able to deliver on His promises!
If you read further you will see that the ship, they were on was destroyed, but 276 people survived the shipwreck that day and kept their lives. If you have life today that is more than enough to be grateful for and if God can take care of that many people, then He can definitely take care of you, but you gotta believe.
There is more for us to be thankful for, than we have to complain about, but what will you use your energy for?
I will bless the Lord at all times;
Psalm 34:3
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
Psalm 34:8
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Psalm 37:3-5
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.5 Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
So before you take one bite, thank God for the food that is on your plate, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and while you’re eating think about His faithfulness!
