Are you ready?

If Jesus were to write you a letter today, what would it say?

Book of Revelations 2&3 contains letters Christ wrote to the 7 churches, where he details everything about them; how He feels about the church and their works.

What does Christ have to say about you, have you been faithful with what God has given you?

“Yes”, you say? Can you see yourself reading these words in your letter, “I know that you have persevered and endured hardships for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary.” Or will you read, “But I have this against you, that you have left your FIRST LOVE.” (Revelations2:3-4)

Have you left your first love, Christ? If you’ve found that you are not where you need to be, it’s time to get it together! Jesus is coming soon!

Tomorrow is promised to no one, get yourself ready for Jesus and bear fruit worthy of heaven (2 Thessalonians 1:5).  God’s Spirit will “not contend with man forever.” Before you know it, time WILL run out. (Gen6:3)

Dying in our sins is the worst thing that can happen to us, it’s completely unnecessary.  Christ already took our sins to the cross. Sin destroys lives and must be confessed and dealt with or spiritual death occurs.

Sin never starts off big, but it throws us off a little bit at a time. God’s Word is living; we’ll either accept it as truth or cast it aside.

Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able…There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.”

Luke 13:24,28

Heaven, or Hell?

Hell is real, but hell and the Lake of Fire go together for an eternal death -our spirits never die.  We either live eternally with Christ, or we get thrown into the Lake of Fire where there is “weeping and gnashing of teeth”. (Revelations20:13-15)

Therefore, we must repent or perish. Christ gave us the choice, saying,

“Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.”

Revelation 2:!0

God loves us, but His love is based on the truth. Your faith and love for God is determined by who you are willing to follow. Jesus says, “Take up your cross and follow me.”

Praise God!

If you are ready to know Jesus, and start living for Him today: this prayer is a START. Confess with your mouth, and believe with your heart.

SAY this beginning PRAYER:

God I’m a sinner and right now I turn from my sins. I ask you to forgive my sins, that I may be right with you. I believe that Jesus Christ: lived, died and that He rose from the dead. Right now, I ask you Jesus to be my Savior and Lord, that I may have eternal life in heaven. Thank you God for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!

We hope this devotion has encouraged you!

Love,
