He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our painIsaiah 53:3-6
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
Jesus was rejected so that you can be accepted. He died for the worst of sins. Today you may have wanted to take your life but Jesus gave His life, so that you may live. Don’t do it! Jesus is the answer and He always has been.
Whose fault is it? Who Crucified Jesus? The Jews or the Romans?
Here’s the truth: every single one of us should have had a cross on Calvary.
I should have been on a cross in between the murderer and the thief.
It was because of our sin that Jesus had to die.
Only the life that was in Jesus’ blood was pure enough to redeem the life of sinners and it is His blood that washes us white as snow.
It’s the blood in our bodies that removes impurities and supplies life to the whole body, but the blood of Jesus removes sin and purifies the souls of those who believe.
God did not desire the blood of rams, bulls, goats, lambs, etc., but Jesus said here I Am to do your will Father, it’s time send me! So, God gave His only Son for us. And the bible tells us that at just the right time Christ died for us.
The Only Perfect Man
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.
God made man in His image and his likeness, but because of our sin He had to come in the form of a Man.
Jesus couldn’t wait till it was over.
50I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished.
Jesus gets arrested after he prayed
How did Jesus Suffered?
He was left alone!
Matthew 26:56 “Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.”
He was rejected by His own people
700 Years Before the Cross Isaiah 50:6 says
I offered my back to those who beat me,
my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;
I did not hide my face
from mocking and spitting.
Mark 14:65 And some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists and say to Him, “Prophesy!” Then the officers took custody of Him and slapped Him in the face.
Mark 15:19 And they repeatedly beat His head with a reed and spit on Him, and kneeling, they bowed down before Him.
John 19:1-3 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.
Matthew 27:24-25 Now when Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this Man’s blood; you yourselves shall see.” 25 And all the people replied, “His blood shall be on us and on our children!”
Mark 15:20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.
John 19:34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
The Bible tells us that the earth shook as it received His life, the veil of the temple that separated us from the Holy of Holies tore right down the middle and a soldier testified that, “surely this was the Son of God!”
Salvation Only Found in Jesus
Jesus stood in between sin and death and told death your victory ends here and He nailed our sins to the cross and the Bible says that if the Son sets you free you are free indeed.
The leaders of the world religions: Mohamed, Krishna, and Buddha are still dead in the dirt, but only Jesus Christ has risen from the dead!
Not only did Jesus die to redeem Mankind, but also to redeem the earth. Christians will receive new bodies and there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
Jesus was buried and honored by His secret disciples Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus.
Jesus died as a humble servant, but on the 3rd day Jesus rose from the dead in power.
The disciple’s faith died because of His death, but it was made alive because of His resurrection.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
There was a price to pay, but we couldn’t afford it, so God payed the price, but there still remains a heavy bill for you if you reject Jesus Christ and what He did for you.
The bible says,
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Jesus says choose me, “Here I am”! He says, “Seek me while I may be found!” He’s not willing that anyone should go to hell, but He has a spot for you in the kingdom of heaven.
Don’t listen to the lies of the world! This This wicked and adulterous generation! Jesus Christ lived as a servant, died as an offering, rose from the dead as a Savior, and will soon return as King of kings and Lord of lords!
If you want to be saved today, from the punishment of sin and receive eternal life. You can and it’s not too late for you!
Say this beginning prayer:
God I’m a sinner and right now I turn from my sins. I ask you to forgive my sins, that I may be right with you. I believe that Jesus Christ: lived, died and that He rose from the dead. Right now, I ask you Jesus to be my Savior and Lord, that I may have eternal life in heaven. Thank you God for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
