Day 9 | How to do 25 Days of Christmas Kindness

Day 9

It’s Day 9 of our 25 Days of Christmas Kindness series, which is a part of our Focus on Your Family: Family Bible Study.

In today’s scripture, a lawyer tried to test Jesus, by asking Him, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus responded, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” I love how Jesus responded back with a question. He could have let the lawyer have it, but He did not. Being God in the flesh, He knows the thoughts in the man. Instead, He gave us an example of how to deal with difficult people. In today’s challenge, we aim to help someone see God’s love too. Read Luke 10:25-37 with your family.

Today’s act of  Christmas Kindness is:

Every day until Christmas, there will be an act of Christmas Kindness that you can do with your family and a focus scripture for you to memorize and have your children write down as a memory verse.

Don’t be discouraged if you miss a day, or change it up a bit to suit your family. These acts are made to extend far beyond Christmas. Invite friends and extended family members to join in. Have fun and ENJOY! It’s Christmas time!
