Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Psalm 34:8
It’s Day 15 of our 25 Days of Christmas Kindness series, which is a part of our Focus on Your Family: Family Bible Study.
If you did the previous days, don’t forget to leave a comment over there. We want to know how your family is being a blessing to others, share your testimonies!
In Matthew 6, Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” Jesus didn’t just come into the world to save us, but also to show us what the God of the universe was like. He came to make the weak person strong, the sick person well, the hungry person full, and the poor person rich. All of these things will be finally complete when Jesus comes back.
To taste the Lord is to experience the Lord’s goodness. I know that Jesus has done some amazing things in your life and He’s not done yet. God has a plan for you and your family, just as He planned for Jesus to come into the world before the world began, but our scripture today says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” The word “blessed” means happy. If you and your family trust in the Lord together, then your life will be filled with the goodness of God, even if you don’t have as much as the next person.
Feed on Jesus this Christmas and every day, because only with Him will you be satisfied!
Today’s act of Christmas Kindness is:
