I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Day 2
Today is Day 2 of our 25 Days of Christmas Kindness series. If you did day 1, don’t forget to leave a comment over there, and tell us how it went! Today, we dive into family and giving. This time, it may seem all about us, but it’s NOT.
The story of Christmas is one of true sacrifice. The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our Scripture today, reminds us to be filled with joy and peace because we trust in Christ, in that, we can have confident hope. This HOPE comes from trusting God!
This is a reminder to help your children understand that it’s not about the gift under the tree, don’t worry about what you are going to get, put your effort into trusting God to provide, the rest will follow. Read Philippians 4:7 today.
Todays act of Christmas Kindness is:
Pick names out of a drawing with your family. Create or purchase a gift for that person, and give it to them early. Twist, they cannot keep it, take your gifts to your local shelter and give them out! Purchased gift values cannot exceed $25.
Every day until Christmas, there will be an act of Christmas Kindness that you can do with your family and a focus scripture for you to memorize and have your children write down as a memory verse.
Don’t be discouraged if you miss a day, or change it up a bit to suit your family. These acts are made to extend far beyond Christmas. Invite friends and extended family members to join in. Have fun and ENJOY! It’s Christmas time!
Let everyone know how it went in the comments below.

If you have a testimony to share about how you did this challenge, leave it here to inspire other families!
Our family decided to purchase our gifts for this challenge.
instead of creating gifts, we figured it better to purchase them, why? Because we know it would go further where we planned to give them. We put our finances together and purchased from Amazon a bag of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Hygiene items are hard and most forgotten when it comes to donating to a shelter, especially the homeless shelter. So, we got these items.
