Do you wish to listen instead? listen to our Vimeo. What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.” 1 Corinthians 15:36
Serving my girls apples one day, the little one decided that she wanted to plant a seed. I said first we must dry the seed out, so that it has no life in it. She asked, “Why Momma?” “Because if it doesn’t die, there will be no life, the seed will mildew, it can’t be planted into the ground to grow.”
When you plant a seed, it does not grow or sprout to life unless it dies.
Because Jesus died for us and rose into His resurrected body, so we die and are raised in bodies of resurrection, prepared for us by Christ.
The body sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable. 1 Corinthians 15:42
If you have a body that is perishing today from a virus or diseases, I want to challenge you to read and study 1 Corinthians 15. I pray that you find peace and solace in the fact that although your body is perishing, IF you are a child of God, He will raise you with an imperishable body. That’s the promise and hope of God.
The truth is we all have perishable bodies. In my three and a half major surgeries, there was never a promise of real recovery. We all live to die, but we have a greater hope, life made new with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If you desire this hope, to be made new, I invite you to know Jesus, Lets pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose to give me life. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins opening my heart and life for You to come in. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
We hope today’s devotion has inspired you. We love you guys, and are constantly praying for you. Have a very blessed day.
Love,
