Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
James 5:14-18

How can you pray effectively? Well it’s simple. You must pray with genuine faith, believing that what you are asking God for will come to pass. You also must not give up. Once God answers your prayer, there no need to continue to pray for something you already have.
If you’ve asked God for something, didn’t He hear you the first time? Yes, but that doesn’t mean you stop there, you can pray for it everyday until it comes to pass. This is that continuous prayer that shows you’re serious and you believe.
There are so many examples, even Jesus prayed that His cup of suffering would pass from Him, but He was also willing to accept the Father’s will for His purpose on earth. Are you willing to accept a Yes, or a No from God? Just pray in faith and leave all the details to God.
We hope today’s devotion has inspired you. We love you guys, and are constantly praying for you. Have a very blessed day.

Prayer is crucial and your message is inspiring. My husband’s sermon today was title “Men Ought To Pray.” Keep writing, inspiring and remain safe.
Thank you Tangie. Yes, you are so right! Prayer is essential for every Christian and is the the life line of our relationship and connection with God. Our access to the promises that God has in His word depend on our obedience to God’s will, to devote ourselves to drawing close to Him, so that everything else in our lives will be covered. Jesus says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
We most definitely appreciate your encouragement and support of our cause, here at Randomnestfamily.org and we will continue to inspire. Thank you and may the Lord bless you and keep you!
