The term “Rapture” isn’t in the bible, but term Rapture describes what the bible says is going to happen in the near future. The term “Rapture” comes from the Greek word, “Harpazo” and the Latin word, “Rapturo” or “Rapturos”. This means caught up, taken by force, snatched up, to carry off for oneself eagerly, etc.
Why do we talk about the Rapture? It’s because the bible tells us to comfort one another with these words. I don’t know about you, but even though these last days can be stressful, it makes me even more eager for the coming of Christ.
But what’s the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming? Find out in this video message!
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
