The Potter Cares
God says, “I am the Potter, and you are the clay.” God not only formed the nation of Israel, but He also formed you. He wasn’t just talking about the geographical location of Israel. He was also talking about the people. Israel had been taken captive into Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. God was compelling the captives to return to Him with their hearts so that He could restore them to glory.
Turn Your heart
God wants you to turn your heart to Him and surrender those areas you are still trying to control. God is saying, “I know what to do with that!” When we leave our cares in the hands of God, He can “show us great and mighty things that we have not known.” He wants you to call to Him if you haven’t done so already. You have to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking.
Do you believe in the power of God? Do you believe that He is able? Do you understand that since He is a Mighty God, then He can do mighty things? Don’t doubt God. Call on His name! Say, “Jesus, I can’t do it, but I know that you can!” Tell God, “I know I can’t fix it, but you are the solution!”
God didn’t just make you and form you, but He desires to establish you in His will and order your steps in His word. Turn your heart to God and surrender those things that have hindered you. God will answer you, strengthen you, comfort you, and deliver you. Keep calling on the Lord! You never know what He’ll do in your life!
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
