Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Romans 12:16

Be confident in the Lord Alone

God has given us unique gifts. Some lord their gifts over others, because they feel their calling is more important. One thing that irritates me is seeing a big-headed leader with false humility, filled with pride. That’s an example of spiritual deformity.

We all as believers are borrowing gifts given to us by God to fulfill His mission, which is to save His people. Every Christian is the fruit of Christ and the harvest of God. We were all given the right to be called children of God, regardless of our abilities. We were all lost, broken, and dead before Jesus. Now we are known by God, a new creation in Christ, and resurrected with Him in the Spirit. This was not our own doing.

Harmony

When the Body of Christ supports all of its members as equally important it functions properly. Unfortunately, we are far from that unity in the church, because we have made service to God a performance and an expression of ego. This should not be, especially when we claim to be representatives of Christ.

This is why we must pray for all of God’s people with strong prayers. The devil wants to have his way in the church, but Jesus has already spoken, “…and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church.” God’s remnant of Churches will stand and triumph. There are still many faithful churches and pastors left. There is hope.

When Christians live in harmony with one another and value others more than themselves, that is when the messages we preach have power. When we do this, not only do souls get saved, but lives are changed and converts become disciples in the faith.

If you’re looking for a local church to be a part of don’t give up. Do everything through prayer and allow God to direct you to the church where He wants you to be. Be strong!

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
