What are you eating today? What I mean, is what thoughts are you allowing to control your mind?  Whatever your mind is feeding on, is what’s going to influence you.  The Bible says,

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 34:8

In John 4:34, Jesus told His disciples,

“My food is to do the will of the Him who sent me and to finish His work.”

We have to remember why we are in this world. Paul says, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” What does that mean to you?

Are you disappointed?

Things may not be going the way that you think they should be going right now. God’s timing might seem a little off to you, but what you need to hold on to is the fact that God is faithful. Despite what we may feel, think, or experience, God has a purpose, a plan, and a specific time for everything under the sun.

Just hold on! Don’t give up! Don’t stop praying! Keep on believing that God is causing all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). That means God is doing this for you, Christian!

Eating on His faithfulness

Take a look around and see the blessings that God has already given you and believe for more. You have to say, “Let not my will, but your will be done, God.” Jesus says,

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Matthew 6:33

So let us change our focus today. Get rid of the junk and feed on the faithfulness of God. Let your food be to do God’s will and finish His work. Let God’s will become your will, then you will have peace and joy, knowing that His will is best for your life.

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
