Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Matthew 6:27

As Christians, we have a whole world of worry waiting to weigh us down and deactivate the power of our faith. What makes us different from the world is that we have a burden to guide lost souls to Christ. Yet, we are at war with the spirit of the Antichrist.

If you’ve been paying attention lately, then you’ve heard of the American government’s intentional efforts to groom our children through exposure to homosexual acts of perversion, in public schools and libraries.

You’ve heard of the stripping away of parents’ rights to guide the sexual future of their own children. Even some churches have been involved in driving us quicker into the fulfillment of end times Prophecy, by exchanging God’s word for socially acceptable motivation.

What about wars and rumors of wars on the other side of the world and the impact of inflation on our budgets? How about your own personal battles? You may just be hoping that tomorrow is better than the day you had today.

Well. What do we do with all of this stuff? We go to God’s word for answers. Jesus said,

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matthew 6:33-34

Philippians 4:6-7 says,

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

Lastly, Psalm 46:10 says this:

“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

We must believe that God’s word is the final authority and preach the gospel without fear of the wicked. Jesus laid down His life and we are called to suffer with Him, if it comes down to that.

We must use our platforms of influence to promote righteousness in every part of society. We also must be faithful to God by living holy lives, so that we will be blameless in this corrupt generation.

The Bible doesn’t tell us not to worry or don’t be anxious, because it’s a good message. It is because we will feel anxious and worried sometimes, so God is encouraging us to renew our minds and trust in His power. God wants us to be still, at peace, and know that He is God. He wants us to know that tomorrow is in His hands and no matter what, He will be exalted in these blasphemous nations and exalted in the earth. He saying, “Just watch and see!”

Yes, we are supposed to watch, but we are also commanded to pray. You may face some financial hardships, but God uses those times as opportunities for you to have faith in Him. God will provide your needs.

We are not called to worry about the world, but to preach to it, because it won’t be long before Jesus comes back, so let us finish the work and let the world worry about the future.

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
