A lot of Pressure?

Lately, I’ve been trying, to find a balance between work, school, ministry, and family. It’s not easy and sometimes you feel like one day just isn’t enough. Yet what is the solution? How are we supposed to respond when we realize that no matter what we do, time doesn’t wait and the days never get longer?

Really, to me, it feels like the days are getting shorter. What do you think? With that in mind, when I fall short of my daily goals and frustrations begin to set in, I’m reminded that God has a purpose for every day. I’m reminded that today is all that matters today and tomorrow doesn’t exist yet. God reminds me of Romans 12:1-2,

One Day... @ Randomnestfamily.org

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Romans 12:1-2

Flip the Script

We have to constantly renew our minds when the cares of this world creep up because it doesn’t produce faith. If we want to know what God’s will is we must transform our response to disappointments and understand that God’s grace is sufficient and our eternity is at the door. Would it really matter, if today was our last day? If Jesus Christ came back right now, would anything else matter? Flip the script.

James 4:13-15 says this:

“Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

James 4:13-15

I have a lot of responsibilities and I know you do too, but we must focus on what’s most important. When you feel like you’re not enough, remember that God is, so let us do everything with eternity in our hearts, without grumbling, and to the glory of God. “If the Lord wills,” then tomorrow we can pick up where we left off.

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
