“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.”

1 Timothy 4:1-2

A recent Gallop report from 2022, estimated that on 20% of Americans believe that the whole Bible is true and trustworthy. You can see why many churches are in a fallen state, compromising on basic Biblical morality like abortion, traditional marriage, gender, and sexuality. It’s sad, but 1 Thessalonians 2:3 already prophesied about these last day events.

Anything besides faith is not of God; according to Romans 14:23, it is sin. These days people are willing to believe anything, as long as it leads them to a comfortable life. Yet, I submit to you that we cannot get comfortable while the devil is prowling like a lion.

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,”

1 Thessalonians 2:3

We cannot allow ourselves to be swallowed up by the pride of life, living in the world like we are supposed to live our best life now. That is a lie from satan himself. We are living in important times for the Christian church. It’s sink or swim!

We must be able to distinguish between the truth and the lie, which means that we not only need to read God’s word, but it needs to be in us. The demonic forces of deception, perversion, and corruption seek to destroy our testimony about Jesus Christ by corrupting our character and causing us to give into things that the Bible clearly teaches as evil in the sight of God.

There are some who were once in the faith, who have twisted doctrines and essentially created a different gospel to make it suitable for the “modern” society. Yet God has already brought judgment down on some of them by making them reprobate, allowing them to do the things they ought not to. Why? It’s because they already know the truth, yet they use God’s truth to do evil.

We need to study our Bibles so that we can stand on what is written. Jesus always referred to scripture when someone approached Him with their opinions. All feelings aside. A simple way of deciding whether something is right or wrong is by testing it with scripture.

The Bible might go against what we want to think, say, and do. People may get mad at us and persecute us because we express our faith. So be it! Just as much as the wicked do and say whatever they desire, we should do and say what we believe without hesitation.

We are living in the last days and time is getting shorter. We no longer have the luxury of pretending to be a Christian. People will abandon their faith because they have one foot in and one foot out with Jesus, but God rejects that.

God has perfect peace, protection, and complete joy available for you. He wants to heal you, strengthen you, and provide for you, but Jesus wants all of you. He wants you to give Him the best you have so that He can exchange it for the best He has for you.

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
