19 For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. 20 For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. 21 For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.
Philippians 1:19-21
The Power of Prayer
I am totally convinced that there is no greater weapon that we have at our disposal than prayer. When we pray, our requests go directly to the one true God, who will answer, in Jesus’ name.
Here, Paul is speaking of the intercessory prayer being raised on his behalf, but the Bible also tells us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. I’m telling you right now, that if you are trusting in Jesus, then you can be fully confident and have unfailing hope, that He will deliver you out of any situation that will not advance His will and His purpose for your life.
Bold Faith Now
You must never be ashamed of anything that you believe in the Bible. God’s wisdom in His word is far superior to any foolish wisdom of this world, that is coming to nothing. Not one philosophy or theory that the wicked have against God will even matter at the end of their life or the end of this world.
God’s Spirit lives within us, therefore we must be bold for Jesus Christ now and until the day we die. Christ is our firm foundation. We don’t passively speak the truth in the Bible and about Christ, but we proclaim it boldly knowing that there is no other truth and no other way, but through Jesus.
Make Up Your Mind
You need to make up your mind that whether you live or die, it will be for the purpose of honoring God in your body, by doing His will, knowing that you have a rich reward in heaven that far outweighs any losses in this temporary life. Our ultimate goal is to see Jesus and as the Bible guarantees, we won’t miss one thing from this world.
Pray always and be bold for Jesus!
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
