What will God do this year?
That’s a good question, but the most important question is what does God want you to do this year?
“Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
James 4:13-15
What if this was your last year? You tried your plans in 2023. You tried your plans in 2022 and maybe you accomplished some things, but now by the grace of God, you made it to 2024.
Most likely the decisions you’ve made in the past cannot be reversed. So don’t focus on the past, rather use it to learn from your mistakes.
God has a purpose and a plan for your life, but you have to Jesus to take the lead role in your life. To ensure this year is successful, it must begin with prayer, God’s word and surrender to God’s will for your life.
Ask God:
God help me to be who you created me to be in Christ.
God help me to apply your word to every area of my life.
God give me the wisdom to make the right decisions and the courage to be different from the world.
God give me vision to walk in my purpose starting now. In Jesus name, Amen.
You cannot afford to wait until the middle of the year to seek God. Do it now.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”
As Dr. Charles Stanley always said, “Obey God and leave the consequences to Him.”
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
