When it comes to waiting, no one really wants to do it. In fact, our society is a “right now” society. So, it’s no wonder why when it comes to waiting in our own lives, we find it almost impossible to wait, and this also goes for our children. Hence the age old “Are we there yet?” or “Can I have it now, what about now!” If this is you or your family, join us in a special prayer to triumph in for waiting on God.

โI would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.14 Wait[a] on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!โ
Prayer:
Lord, help me (or us) to wait on You.
I (or we) set before You all my (or our) dreams and desires. I (or we) lay them at Your feet Lord, for You are faithful and Your will is perfect.
Lord, help me (or us) to not lose heart as I (or we) wait on You. For I (or we) know that You will bless me (or us) with good things on this earth.
Help me (or us) to wait on You, encourage and strengthen me (or us).
Lord, help me (or us) to wait!
In Jesus name, amen.
