There are moments in parenting when it feels like you are repeating yourself all day long. You remind your children to listen, be kind, tell the truth, stay focused, and trust God, only to wake up the next morning and do it all over again. How can we keep teaching them diligently when we feel like giving up?
But God never told parents to teach their children once.
He said to teach them diligently.
“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Children are still growing, learning, and maturing. They will always need reminders, encouragement, correction, and guidance. Honestly, adults do too. Our minds must be renewed daily in the Lord because the enemy never stops trying to distract, discourage, and destroy what God is building in our families.
That is why parents cannot afford to give up when things get hard.
Sometimes the hardest seasons are the moments when your teaching is actually taking root. The enemy loves discouragement. He wants parents to feel exhausted enough to throw in the towel. But through Christ, we already have victory, and we can keep teaching, praying, loving, and leading with confidence.
Faithful parenting is not about perfection. It is about consistency.
Keep opening the Bible.
Keep correcting with love.
Keep pointing your children back to Jesus.
Keep teaching them diligently.
God sees every seed you are planting.
Prayer
Lord, help me not to grow weary in teaching my children. Give me patience, wisdom, and strength to keep leading my family toward You, even on the hard days. Remind me that every lesson, prayer, correction, and conversation matters. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
