36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Matthew 13:36-43
Many people still don’t understand that not everyone who says they are Christians are real Christians. Satan wants everything that he does to blend in and reflect God’s work but in an evil way. He is antichrist by nature, but that doesn’t just simply mean against, but it also means to replace.
Therefore, satan wants to replace everything God does with counterfeit, hence the “weeds”! So satan deceives many in the church and outside of the church, with substitutions for what God’s word says, just as he did in the garden of Eden, no new tricks, just different ways of applying them.
Therefore, many Christians and counterfeit Christians have compromised many truths in God’s word. Satan gets them to think, “Did God really mean that”, just like Eve. Unfortunately, many people fall for it every time. It gets worse, because people not only believe unbiblical lies, but they teach and defend them.
This is the reason why satan’s bad seeds sown in the church are so damaging, because many are led astray and many turn away from the faith, becoming children of satan rather than God, but many of them don’t even believe that they belong to satan. Why? Because they redefine God’s word to serve their fleshly desires and as the bible says, becoming self deceived.
Here’s a few statistics:
Only 9% of all American adults have a biblical worldview.
One-third of all adults (34%) believe that moral truth is absolute and unaffected by the circumstances. Slightly less than half of the born-again adults (46%) believe in absolute moral truth.
Half of all adults firmly believe that the Bible is accurate in all the principles it teaches. That proportion includes the four-fifths of born-again adults (79%) who concur.
Just one-quarter of adults (27%) are convinced that Satan is a real force. Even a minority of born-again adults (40%) adopt that perspective.
A minority of American adults (40%) are persuaded that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life while He was on earth. Slightly less than two-thirds of the born-again segment (62%) strongly believes that He was sinless.
Seven out of ten adults (70%) say that God is the all-powerful, all-knowing creator of the universe who still rules it today. That includes the 93% of born-again adults who hold that conviction.
Barna Group
Other groups that possess a below average likelihood of having a biblical worldview included people who describe themselves as liberal on social and political matters (also less than one-half of one percent); Catholics (2%); Democrats (4%) and residents of the Northeast (4%).

Barna’s research has discovered that (because of compromises in the Christian faith), there are unusually large differences in behavior related to matters such as media use, profanity, gambling, alcohol use, honesty, civility, and sexual choices.
