Fighting the Right Way

No time? Listen instead!

¹⁰ Last of all I want to remind you that your strength must come from the Lord’s mighty power within you. ¹¹ Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of Satan. ¹² For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies—the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world.

Ephesians 6:10-12

Fighting our Enemy

When fighting an invisible war, we must know who our enemy is, and PREPARE for BATTLE.

The Bible gives us the weapons we need to fight and they are powerful. We are able to defeat the enemy, when we fight the right way. The scriptures above tells us that these are our weapons:

The Belt of Truth.

The Breastplate of Righteousness.

The Gospel of Peace.

Shield of Faith.

Helmet of Salvation.

Sword of the Spirit – The word of God.

We must live according to the truth, live in righteousness, live preparing ourselves to meet the Lord, live by faith, live having confidence that we are saved, and live having God’s word working in our lives.

Be STRONG in the Lord, for we can do NOTHING without Him.

Today, victory is yours in Jesus name!

Not only did Christ give us this spiritual armor to fight in, He also COVERED us in His blood.

So now we fight with a purpose – a drive.

There is a prize at the end if we do not give up, if we just keep fighting, and serving God!

“After having done all to stand, stand firm.”

Ephesians 6:13

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me.
