Faith On Fire
At this time, King Nebuchadnezzar had a huge gold statue built after his own image. This monstrous idol was said to be about 90 feet tall. The three Hebrew men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were rulers in the king’s palace, but you can say they were, “In the palace, but not of the palace.”
These three men, who were friends of Daniel, were sold out for God. They didn’t put money, luxury, reputation, or their own lives over God. Their motto was “G.O.E.,” God Over Everything.
That group of haters couldn’t wait to throw these men of God under the bus. They made sure their story was laced with all kinds of triggers to ignite the rage of the king – lies weaved in with the truth.
The “G.O.E.” Motto
As Christians, we really have to recognize what the idols of this world are, so that we don’t compromise our convictions. Sinners watch whatever they want and they don’t care if it blasphemes Jesus. They attend concerts of every music artist, except Christian artists. In addition, they blindly accept every social value on society’s list.
We have to be willing to love our enemies with the gospel, love our fellow Christians, and stand on the truth of God’s word, and promote it. No matter the cost, and even if all the laws in the world condemn our faith, we must be willing to accept the consequences and suffer for Christ.
Our haters will hate, but they are there so that God will be glorified in you. Don’t let the devil move you from your firm foundation. Obey God, without apology!

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
