Pray, To Grow Closer to Jesus

“I am not praying for these alone but also for the future believers who will come to me because of the testimony of these. My prayer for all of them is that they will be of one heart and mind, just as you and I are, Father—that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me.

“I have given them the glory you gave me—the glorious unity of being one, as we are— I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one—so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me.”

The enemy doesn’t sleep, nor should we in our prayers.

Jesus continued to pray for us. He makes clear that His prayer just doesn’t cover the success of His disciples, but for “those after them,” future Christians.

Praying and fasting brings us closer to Jesus.

When we stand together in prayer, as Christ desires, we are all one in Him, just as He is in God. Father, son, Holy Spirit, all in one!

Jesus united us with His gift. His death on the cross brought life to us. Now we can be united, just the way He prayed in verses 22-23.

Let’s keep running the race of life.

Don’t give up now, pray! Pray harder in the heat, or the fire of every situation. Just pray and know that God is with you.

Pray: Father, help me to pray even when its tough. I know that you are always with me, and you strengthen me with your prayers for me. Thank You Jesus, In your Holy name, amen!

Salvation Plan
