“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3 NKJV
There are so many distractions in our lives. Work, family, our phones, worry, and fear are all fighting for our attention, but if we are not careful Jesus will have to knock on the door of our hearts to remind us that He’s waiting for us.
We are at war in our minds and many times we can be our worse enemy because we determine what we do with our time. Is Jesus first in your life? Do you have peace?
If Jesus is not first, then you can’t have His peace. Our scripture tells us that God will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are fixed on Him because that shows that we trust in Him to handle the things that we have no control over.
Imagine taking all that stress, fear, and failures off your shoulders and giving it to Jesus. Imagine those burdens as weights being lifted off your back. Trust in Jesus and keep Him as number one in your schedule.
Since Jesus is the First and the Last, commit to prayer and reading the Bible in the morning and at night. That’s what our family has done together for the past 9 to 10 years and it has changed our lives.
Dedicate your life to the Lord and He will never leave you, nor forsake you, instead, He will keep you!
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
