When it comes to praise in family devotion or family Bible study, sometimes you might not get much rouse out of your kids. It could be for a variety of reasons, but one thing I’ve learned, is to pray before praising. Saying a prayer like this can help your family realize their part in family devotions and that prayer is a part of the worship and the sacrifice we give to God, with our lips. Be inspired today, with a reliable family prayer for giving God Praise.

Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 TLB

Focus Scripture

Today’s focus scripture for this prayer comes from Psalm 30:1-5 NIV

I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.
You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:1-5 NIV

Prayer:

Father, we praise You, for You have not allowed our enemies to overtake us.
Lord, we praise You because You have strengthened us. When we fall short, You are always there to pick us up and set our crooked paths straight.
We praise Your Holy Name, Lord!
We worship You, because we know that although we make mistakes, Your favor is everlasting!
We might be sad temporarily, but You give us JOY in the morning.
Praise the Lord!
In Jesus name, amen!
