As we look around at the world today, it’s easy to see how much bigger it seems than it once did. There are endless new things to explore, countless voices calling for our attention, and endless promises of happiness and success from all sorts of directions. But in this bigger, louder world, it’s easy to feel small. Sometimes, we can even feel like our faith is just one little voice in the middle of it all. So, todays Live Inspired devotion is about how to have a big faith for a big world!
Scripture: “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” – Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
A Big, Big Faith
However, our faith isn’t small. In fact, we have a big, big faith in an even bigger God. God is not just a part of this world; He is above it, around it, and in control of it. He is the Creator of all things, and there’s nothing in this world that could ever compare to His greatness.
I was inspired by this scripture as I headed to the testing center to take my Excel exam. I was nervous, but I knew I had put in the work, and God would guide me through it. I was able to both taste and see the goodness of God!

Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” This verse reminds us that experiencing God’s goodness isn’t something theoretical. It’s something we can taste, feel, and rely on. When we let ourselves trust in Him, really leaning on Him as our refuge, we find that His goodness is enough to satisfy us—even with all the world has to offer and no matter what we go through. In fact, nothing is too BIG or too small for God!

So, in this big world, let your faith grow even bigger. Let it remind you that there is nothing more satisfying, more fulfilling, or more reliable than God’s love. His presence is our safe place. When we feel the pressures of the world to chase after success, fame, or security, we can remember that we are blessed because we have taken refuge in the One who is constant, faithful, and overwhelmingly good.

Prayer
Father, thank You for being bigger than this world and for inviting us to find our refuge in You. Help us to trust You more each day and to let our faith grow as we remember Your goodness. When the world feels overwhelming, remind us that we are blessed in You. Amen.

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
