God has a feast waiting for you in heaven. He is inviting you into His Kingdom to dine with Him.
“Jesus said: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. 17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ 18 “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’ 19 “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’ 20 “Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’ 21 “The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ 22 “‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’ 23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. 24 I tell you, not one of those who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’”Luke 14:16-24
God is saying, I sent my only Son Jesus Christ to die in your place, to be beaten, whipped with spiked cords until He was unrecognizable. They took His broken body and nailed His hands and feet to a Roman cross until He died. But three days later He rose from the dead because death could not hold Him.
Now Jesus is calling you to repentance; to turn from your sins and hell, and believe in Him. In order to enter into the kingdom of heaven and feast with Jesus, you must first invite Him into your heart. Jesus is so serious about this that He’s knocking on the door of your heart,
Jesus says, in Revelation 3:22 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
To the poor person, who could never afford the expensive meals, Jesus has good no one has ever tasted and drinks no one has ever drank.
To the broken, Jesus was broken so that your soul could be healed.
To the forgotten, God knew you before you were in your mother’s womb.
It’s time to let go of sin and put away your excuses. Jesus is calling you and knocking on your door, but it’s up to you to let Jesus in today.
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
