Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning…You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect…

But suppose the servant (you and I) says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he (we) then begins to beat the other servants (mistreat others), both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master (the Lord) of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.”

He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.”

Is this what we want to look forward to when the Lord returns? Many Christians seem to have forgotten that the Lord can come back at any time. When asked, “Do you think Christ would be proud of what you’re doing right now?” Most people have said, “Well…Maybe, not exactly.”  So, why do you do what you knowingly shouldn’t?

The world is full of idol worshipers and plenty of satanic worshiping, in which people will blatantly sell their souls for fame -thinking nothing of it. If they are willfully selling what isn’t theirs in the first place to satan, signing it off in blood, then they must know there is a God, an Almighty God. Yes, God has given us free will, to freely give ourselves to him. Not to this world.

Right is wrong, wrong is right?

Most people are so quick to do what’s wrong because they believe that they are not afraid. They think that if they can just get more people to do what they do or think how they think; then what they are doing isn’t wrong. They tease and scoff at God saying, “where is he?” Even discounting the Word of God to live in sin, blaspheming the Holy Spirit in all kinds of wretched ways. They become grave-yard dead, digging a deeper pit for themselves.

What they fail to understand is that “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

Jesus loves us all. Yes, he is waiting on all those who he chose to come to him. “The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” (John6:44, Psalm 103:8)
However, the Lord is a jealous God, and he will take vengeance on his foes and enemies. (Nahum 1:2) So those people who do such things, should not think that they will get away. In fact, when WE as CHRISTIANS willfully sin against God, after knowing better, there is no longer a sacrifice for our sins. We make what Christ did for us null and void.  We can only live like unbelievers: “in fearful expectation of judgment and raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.” (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Who wants to live like that?

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! There is no-longer an excuse for anyone because God has made himself know to all man. “God has put his laws in our minds and has written them on our hearts, so no one is without excuse.” (Hebrews 8:11-13, 10:31)

“But no one knows the date and hour when the end will be—not even the angels…. Only the Father knows.” (Matthew24:36TLB)

Amen.

Salvation Plan

Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
