Romans 12:13
Sharing
Most of us began to be taught to share in preschool, but the Bible is where the idea of sharing came from. Although this is true, not many people want to. We live in the most selfish society ever. Remember the toilet tissue and water shortage at the beginning of the pandemic?
I want you to think about this. Jesus gave up everything to have us. Now Jesus commands all of us who believe in Him to be like Him in all of our ways. Who better to share our resources with than our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Hospitality
Hospitality is a practice. It’s something that everyone can improve upon. We all know someone who can entertain just about any guest. That’s called a gift. That kind of person is usually the pillar of their family that keeps everyone together.
The reason why this scripture is so important is that Christians make up the body of Christ. When we love one another in our kindness and giving, we’re really loving Jesus. Your obedience to Romans 12:13 could be an answer to someone else’s prayers. What if a prayer you’re praying for hasn’t been fulfilled yet because God is waiting for another believer to be obedient to Romans 12:13?
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
