That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

The Glory is Greater than our Troubles!
What Paul is telling us here, is that the glory that we will receive is greater than the trouble we experience. But, how do you see it? Sometimes, and I have to be honest here, myself included, we fixate on the troubles, rather than feeding on God’s faithfulness.
This happens because our minds get desensitized to His presence. This world is dying along with our bodies as the scripture says and these things will all perish. You are alive, right now to glorify the King of kings and the Lord of lords, who the bible says will also glorify you in heaven.
Paul says, “…our present troubles are small…”. No matter how big your problems are, they are small, because they are temporary, but our rewards in heaven are eternal. So, no! We don’t give up! We fix our eyes on Jesus Christ because we walk by faith and not by sight.
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
