“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke12:48)
Tired?
Everyone gets tired. Everyone just wants a break.
“Maybe I’ll just rest up tonight, I’ll read my bible tomorrow… I’ll pray for that person on my heart tomorrow, if I’m up to it, I’ll note it so I won’t forget….”
There are plenty of days like this, the enemy will try to use this feeling to throw us off track. Every time!
For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” Luke12:48
When it gets tough, that’s when we, as Christians must remember who we are
doing this for, and why we are in this race. It should not be for our
self-glorification, but for God.

We are called to plant seeds, to run the race given to us, to be brave and
courageous. Praying and reading Gods Word is a requirement of Christianity, it helps to produce and increases our faith.
Without faith, we cannot please God, no matter what we think we might be doing
for Him. “For he who comes to God must believe that HE IS, and that HE
IS a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Joshua 1:9, Hebrews11:6
If God has placed you in a position, work in it with all you have. You do
not want the master to return to find you sleeping. Even what you have, can be
taken away. Mark 13:35-37, Mark 4:25
We need the power of God
We need the power of God to sustain us, alone, we can do nothing. The most
valuable tool we have is the Word of God. As Christians, the only way to grow
deeper in Christ and know His will, is to diligently seek Him, by
reading the Bible and praying.
On days when we don’t feel up to it, we need to push that much harder. I
love when Paul says,
“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have
it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so
wondrously reached out for me. Friends don’t get me wrong: By no means do I
count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God
is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning
back. So, let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God
has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than
total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now
that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.” Philippians 3:12-16
We might be tired
We might be tired sometimes, but let’s subdue our bodies and bring it into
servitude for Christ. “I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the
finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No sloppy living for me! I’m
staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping,
telling everyone else all about the Lord and then missing out myself.” 1Corinthians
9:26-27 MSG

“The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the
ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no
one can fathom.” Isaiah 40:28
God does not grow weary in dealing with us, so “Let us not
become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Even if the days are long and everything seems out of control, settle down
with Gods Word and some good old prayer. “Take a new grip with your tired
hands, stand firm on your shaky legs, and mark out a straight, smooth path for
your feet so that those who follow you, though weak and lame, will not fall and
hurt themselves but become strong.” Hebrews 12:12-13
Amen
Salvation Plan
Today, if you have not received Salvation or you would like to rededicate your life back to Christ, say this prayer:
God, I know that I am a sinner. Right now, Lord, I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross and rose from the grave, for me. I open my heart and life for You to come in, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
